Bikini and Intimate Waxing – Private and Professional
Intimate waxing is a personal choice. Some clients prefer it because the area feels cleaner and more comfortable, particularly in hot weather. Others choose it for personal grooming, sports, travel or aesthetic reasons.
At Lâm Kiều Spa, the therapist confirms the exact area before starting. You may request bikini-line waxing, more extensive Brazilian waxing or male intimate waxing. Only the area agreed upon with the client will be treated.

It is normal to feel nervous before a first intimate waxing appointment. Our therapists focus on the procedure and maintain professional boundaries throughout the service. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, you may ask the therapist to pause or stop.
Professional boundaries: An involuntary erection or ejaculation may occasionally happen during male intimate grooming. This is a physiological response. The therapist will pause so the client can clean himself privately, and the service will continue only if both parties are comfortable. Sexual comments, intentional touching or requests outside the booked service are not accepted.
What Happens During a Waxing Appointment?
Step 1 – Consultation
The therapist confirms the area to be waxed and checks for irritation, wounds, infection or other conditions that may make waxing unsuitable that day.
Step 2 – Skin preparation
The treatment area is cleaned and prepared. Long hair may be trimmed to a more suitable length before waxing.
Step 3 – Wax application
Wax is applied in small, controlled sections. The technique may be adjusted depending on the treatment area, hair strength and skin sensitivity.
Step 4 – Finishing and aftercare
Remaining wax is removed and the skin is checked. A suitable soothing product may be applied when necessary, followed by simple aftercare instructions.
How to Prepare Before Waxing
- Allow the hair to grow long enough for the wax to grip it. Around 5–10 mm is usually suitable.
- Do not shave the treatment area immediately before your appointment.
- Avoid strong exfoliation, scrubs or irritating skincare products on the area for one or two days beforehand.
- Keep the skin clean and avoid applying heavy oils or body lotions immediately before waxing.
- Tell the therapist if you are using retinoids, exfoliating acids or medication that makes the skin fragile.
- Do not wax skin with open wounds, active infection, severe irritation or recent sunburn.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing, especially for bikini or intimate waxing.

Waxing Aftercare

- Keep the area clean and dry during the first several hours.
- Avoid very hot baths, saunas, steam rooms and intense exercise for approximately 24 hours if the skin remains sensitive.
- Avoid tight clothing and strong friction on recently waxed skin.
- Do not apply perfume, deodorant, alcohol-based products or strong active ingredients directly to irritated skin.
- Do not scratch or repeatedly touch the treated area.
- Once the skin has settled, gentle exfoliation may help reduce ingrown hairs. Do not exfoliate immediately after waxing.
- For exposed body areas, avoid strong sunlight and use protective clothing while the skin remains sensitive.
